High school Visitor Policy!!!

Wynnewood High School welcomes parents to visit our school at any time. As with any School, we do ask that you follow the guideline set forth in this policy.

Please sign in and out of the office.

Please notify the office in advance if possible. This is to assure that the teacher whose room you will be visiting will be available (may be out due to illness or emergency). Also, the students may be doing some testing that requires them not to be interrupted.

Please notify the office by 9:00 a.m. if you plan to eat lunch in the cafeteria. This is so that we can turn in an accurate lunch count. Visitor's lunch costs is $3.50.

We suggest that you plan to visit in the morning or the afternoon. It is our experience that an all day visit tends to put stress on our students.

We appreciate the interest you are showing in your child's education and encourage the observation of your child and the teacher, but we remind you that the other students in the school are not to be topic of conversation.

Each teacher will have an area designated for their guests and we ask that you cooperate with this arrangement since it is difficult to keep students on track if they are distracted. Please sit back, relax, and observe, after all; you are our guest. Also, please do not bring children with you.

Failure to comply with these rules will result in being asked to leave.
