The Delaware Nation, a Federally-Recognized Tribe based in Anadarko, OK offers a Child Care and Development Fund (CCDF) subsidy program for Native American families in their service areas (including Garvin county) of Oklahoma. They are accepting new applications for child care subsidy assistance for eligible families.

The Chickasaw Nation's Impa'chi summer food program is for ALL children and youth ages 1-18 years of age. This is a No Cost food resource for families during the summer months. On the flyer, there is a QR Code that links directly to their meal sites, as well as, an opportunity for families to apply for mailed meal boxes directly to their homes. The online application has an income requirement, but the physical meal sites do not have an income requirement. Once the application is approved, each child will start receiving two weeks’ worth of shelf stable meals with a menu. They ask that participants choose one method: mailed meals or physical meal site, not both. The Wynnewood Library is a local site. If the participant experiences any difficulties with the online application, please, contact to impachi Meals for Kids at (580) 272-2526.

Happy Administrative Professional Day to the real MVP's at Wynnewood Public Schools. They are the glue that holds everything together!

Dear Parents and Guardians,
This is a reminder that the property next to our sports complex is private. No one should enter or cross onto it during events or anytime. There is livestock, including bulls, which most people don't stand a chance against if attacked.
Please make sure your children and guests:
Stay on complex grounds at all times during a game
Do not go beyond fences or posted boundaries
Children leaving the complex alone creates safety risks and is not allowed. Thank you for helping us keep everyone safe and respectful of our neighbors.

It has begun! Demo days!

Friday, February 13th will now be a school day. Thanks!

Good evening parents/guardians,
After careful consideration, there will be no school Friday, Jan 30th. We really tried to make it happen but there are still too many bad areas within our district. Let's start fresh Monday! Have a great weekend!

Wynnewood Public Schools will be closed as well as all related activities on Thursday, January 29th.
While most main roads are now clear, many side streets and rural roads remain unsafe.
Although school and city staff worked hard to clear areas around the school, we want to make sure there's no question about student and staff safety.
We appreciate the understanding and patience of our community as we work to reopen school as safely as possible. Thank you for your patience and continued support.

Due to continued hazardous road conditions, we feel it is be necessary to cancel school and all related activities on Wednesday, January 28th. Stay safe and we'll keep you posted on upcoming days!

Turn off the TV, put down your devices! Go have another SNOW DAY!!! Make some great memories and have some fun!

Good afternoon,
Tomorrow Jan. 26th will be a Snow day. All activities are canceled as well. Enjoy the snow if you can!
⛄️Attention⛄️

Good evening Wynnewood,
Since Mother Nature is unpredictable, we will move to distance learning for Friday, Jan 23rd. We want to err on the side of caution as it may freeze and become dangerous at 5pm or it could be 11am. Your child has been sent home with some school work. We will provide assistance to them, if needed, upon return. Please be safe and warm out there!

January is School Board recognition month. We wanted to thank these gentlemen for their service to our school district. We appreciate everything they do! Be sure to say thanks when you see them!
